Teamo, a Smart Cup Platform
September 2025 — Fast Prototype
A playful object that makes sure the cup stays full and warm — so Stacia always feels the care behind it.

1. The Starting Point
In our home, making tea or coffee is a quiet ritual: Mathieu always brings a warm cup to Stacia while she reads or watches TV. We wondered — could that care be built into an object itself? At the same time, we wanted to test the state of AI in September 2025: could it create a fully working product in just a few hours?
2. What We Built
Teamo is a platform, modeled in Blender and fabricated on our own 3D printer Bestik. It can:
-
Detect the weight of a cup and estimate how full it is
-
Measure temperature to know if the drink is still hot
-
Send live data to a companion mobile app
-
Work as a standalone object with no wires visible
3. How It Works
-
Body: 3D-printed enclosure designed in Blender
-
Sensors: load cell for weight, temperature probe for heat
-
Controller: ESP32-C3 with Bluetooth Low Energy
-
Firmware: lightweight C++ for sensor logic
-
App & Backend: generated entirely by Codex AI in React Native, including data handling and iOS interface
-
Integration: real-time cup status streamed to mobile
4. Status
Built in September 2025 as a proof-of-concept — showing how far AI-assisted development had come, and how quickly a working object could be produced.
