Apointix — Booking Assistant
Since July 2024 — Private individual use
Apointix is a digital assistant that secures hard-to-get appointments with public services. It calls, navigates phone menus, refreshes booking websites, and notifies you when a slot is confirmed.

1. The Starting Point
Booking an appointment with public services was exhausting — long hold times, confusing phone trees, and online slots that disappeared instantly. We wondered: could an assistant do the waiting and clicking for us?
2. What We Built
Apointix is an automation tool that:
-
Dials phone lines and navigates IVR menus
-
Refreshes booking websites until a slot appears
-
Uses local LLM logic to handle phone interactions
-
Sends instant alerts once an appointment is secured
It turned a frustrating, hours-long task into something invisible running in the background.
3. How It Works
-
Backend: Python and Node.js for automation logic
-
Phone automation: Kotlin service for dialing and navigating menus
-
Web automation: Headless browser for page refreshing and slot detection
-
AI: Local LLM (LLaMA) for call logic
-
Database: MongoDB for tracking requests
4. Status
Apointix is active as an internal tool. We use it privately to secure our own appointments, making bureaucracy feel a bit better.
